So finally, its new year. Happy new year everyone...
My new year's eve, night and the first day went great. On the eve, I celebrated a lot..
the night was beautiful.. thanks to the Blue Moon which get spectacular in the first hour of the new year with a beautiful partial lunar eclipse that forced me to start this year with its mesmerizing sight that lasts for about an hour in the night.
I love such things and its nice to start a fresh year with them.
Then comes the first day of year, slight chill was there but overall weather was cheerful.
So this was the happy start of the year. They say that if the start is good, the whole year might be good. Six days of the year are gone, and not a single good thing had happened since the eclipse. The happiness I received with the sight of this extraordinary natural phenomenon got all washed away with the pretty ugly things like only half salary get credited to my account [they blame it on the recession] ,etc. etc.
But hey, the problems will always be there, the whole point to look for is that how will i tackle them. This new year i m gonna change my life a lot, its gonna be way much better than previous years..New year will see how i actually turn it into a 'HAPPY' New Year... for me and for my loved ones...

Hey Santa, Is That My Christmas Gift?
T -3 days... not for a shuttle launch... for Christmas :) and I am feeling Christmas spirit around me already. Christmas week is, and has always been, full of joy, twists and happiness. You sense something mysterious around you when unlike most of your weeks, all of your days of a particular special week goes way much better. This kinda week for me is Christmas week. Christmas spirit always works for me... I've been observing this for around 4 years (3yrs+this one) and every single year brings me some or the other joy on Christmas week, especially on Christmas Eve and on Christmas itself. I cannot say the same for the other weeks and days of the year with such a certainty and that’s for sure. Don't think that I am religious or something, just sharing this coincidence (which is happening from last 3 years and its happening right now in this year) with you, which I love to think as Christmas Spirit. The nice thing of thinking like that is that it helps me to feel good, which helps me to do good and which, in turn, again makes me feel good. As simple as that... and as melodious as Jingle Bells. :)
I wonder who is behind this wonderful gift... Santa… is that u?
HO HO HO..
HO HO HO..

To Pandora and Back but still on it
After all the twists and turns, i finally made my journey to Pandora. The 3D experience was unlike any 3D experience I had before... this one was spectacular. It feels like actually being on the moon (for the unawares- Pandora is a moon, not a planet) itself. James had created this one so spectacular, mystical, dangerous, beautiful, green and connected that at the beginning of the movie i wish to be on that planet, my wish got fulfilled during the movie and right after movie's end, i wish to be on Pandora again. I really liked and enjoyed every bit of Avatar. Not just because it was 3D and experience was rich, but i liked the involvement of biochemical neural network type connection of the entire planet with all its habitats, plants, animals and Na'vi (the 10 feet tall, blue colored, long tailed inhabitants of Pandora) . I really like and support that kinda thinking towards nature. That connection is important and was really a wonderful concept James has woven into the movie. The science part and the Avatar concept is not new to me. But the story of this AVATAR, relly touched my heart.
Thanks James for this spectacular piece of work.. you made my weekend an unforgettable memory...

GOT THE TICKETS to planet Pandora...YAHOOOOOOOO
Phase 1, of getting immense happiness and a great experience that i never had before, is completed by me successfully. In simpler terms - I managed to get two tickets for AVATAR 3D tomorrow's show at 7:30.. This was hard and tricky as most of the shows till Monday night were 98% booked and rest were being booked rapidly by crazies like me.
The very first step i took this morning was to get ready early and rush for the nearest theater on the way to my office. Last night, till 1 i was constantly keeping an eye on various shows and the number of seats remaining.
When I drop by the theater early today, today's shows were completely booked, so i hurriedly asked the guy at the counter to look for the place in tomorrow's evening show, and wallah! There were exactly 2 seats remaining... and zap... i grab those.
And like every thing happens in my life contains some or the other irony or twist... this one has one too... Now i have two tickets.. and the damn friend of mine who was suppose to go with me is now saying that he is busy and can't go.. Now i have to ask people , in fact bag them , to go for movies with me... my priorities will be girls of course , 2/2 is the count so far, of the girls I've asked by the girls that kicked the request(and eventually me...).
Anyways, the mystery will continue.. till tomorrow in this episode called... "Who will watch AVATAR 3D with me".
Keep your fingers crossed and pray that it would be a girl..
meanwhile... this is me.. signing out..

a good day or a bad day?
Medley of melancholy and cheers, mix bag of laughter and tears. This was the kinda day I had so far.
It started with a very beautiful morning, 'mast' songs till I get ready for office and a nice breakfast with my favorite strong black coffee. Nice and cheerful so far..
Then got a ride till half of my way to office (that too without sticking my thumb in air in front of total strangers ) and then comfy low floor bus landed me to the beginning of ruining my mood.
First step of the day into the office welcomed me with the teary news of salary delay.
Then situation suddenly changes her heart and gave me a happy news with a 'mithai ka dabba' that one of my colleague and a good friend is getting married.
Happiness continues with the news that AVATAR 3D is up on theaters and a sheer possibility of me getting tickets for tomorrow or day after tomorrow's show left me jumping with joy.. oh boy..
Then an awkward moment suddenly jumps in when my HR and Project Manager saw me jumping with joy.. what the hell boy..
And for the next two hours, I had to stick to my computer and do a very tough and BORING documentation and to deliver it on time - I had to SKIP MY LUNCH .. very tragic.
Twist again.. a beautiful girl gtalked me for about 20 mins and told me that its been days that she had glimpse of my face...AND SHE WANNA SEE IT... he he he.. i think she had a very bad eyesight... but anyways,, its good for me.. :)
Enough for the day at work..
Time to go home... and see what life has to offer as soon as i step out of that damn office door...
This is me... signing out.. meanwhile u decide whether its a good day... or bad day.. I am tiered of being confused..

Sudden attack of blogging a post
After micro blogging for so long I almost said so long to this macro blog (which logically is itself micro as the posts are long but there number is minuscule) , exactly 42 sec. ago, i got that part of my memory back which contains this blog and its insignificant amount of entries. I don't know how that miracle happened, but here i am, in the past and blogging in the old fashioned way from my office computer (my boss is not around, and i have around an hour free, so its perfectly legal ).
Not much work today, and not enough words to write. So i am signing off now,... but will continue blogging more often, need to work more on my spallings and this might prove to be a good exercise ;)

I Failed
Only a minute has passed since she hung up the phone after saying good night, and I am still standing with my phone holding it close to my ear. A deep thought has cobwebbed me. For a second, I felt very strong urge to kill a particular percent of Indians.. 90%.
Her "Hi" was very low when I called her,and so was her voice. The usual cheer of her sound was entirely missing, which always used to be there irrespective of the tiredness of the day.
Clearly there was something wrong. My first thought was 'may be she had a rough day'. 'But she is a strong girl, she knows how to handle rough dayz smoothly' was my second thought. Leaving the train of thoughts in the subway, I jumped straight to the platform of directly asking her whats wrong. So I did. At first she just put my first thought into words, then after one or two lines here and there from me, she told me the answer to the 'whats wrong' question. Although some details were missing, but at least she shared, enough for me. I don't know what had happened, she didn't told me clearly, but she was very upset, very very upset, coz people didn't turn out the way she believed they would. They are the people who she always loved very much ,she still do, and according to her, she'll always do,no matter what, coz they.. are her parents. She always felt lucky that she got such nice and open minded mom-dad. And today she was upset of their orthodox thinking. Its her personal matter so I didn't push her to tell me what happened exactly, but I still wish I could know the event that not only left her low, but also had left her with the realization what people, specially *middle class Indians* are -- from outside they do a lot of showoffs in the society trying to make everyone around them feel that they are modern and open minded-literate-intellectuals while from inside they possesses the same old mentality full of utterly orthodoxical shit.
She was upset that her parents turned out that way, she was sad coz she didn't know how to make them understand, how to bridge the gap. Her faith in Indians and their mentalities has completely disappeared. She thought that 90% of Indians are like that. Her feelings are hard to captivate in words. I am not a writer to regenerate the same feeling that I had when I heard her saying all that, her anger towards the 90%, her rage, her sadness, and most beautiful of all... her determination to fight with all that and desperation to continue to pay attention to her career. She really is something. I have never seen such a positiveness, clarity of thoughts and beauty of the soul anywhere but inside myself. It was like I was talking to myself, words, thoughts, anger, everything was same, everything except the sadness. I always have tried to stay away from sadness, I hate it,coz it always make my loved ones sad, unhappy, not smiling which i don't want them to be. I've pulled many out of it, have tried to put smile on every face, try to give them new prospective of life, shown them how to kick ass hard of everything that tries to make them feel negative, leave them low and erase their smiles. And almost every time I've succeeded Every time but this. I failed to cheer her up, during my entire (almost 15-16 min.)conversation with her I was numb, dumbfounded as I didn't had no words that could make her feel better, I failed to divert her attention towards those 10% who are actually are exactly like she want people to be, I failed to tell her that I am one of them , I failed to tell her that I have exactly the kinda thinking that she think only non-Indians have, I failed to put things into words.
I still don't know how to make her believe in those 10%, worst, I don't know how to put wings back to the angel who thinks that there are no angels in town anymore.
She questioned me back that how to know who among the 10 persons around her is one of those 10%, and I failed to answer that. Why should she give those 10% a damn when the other 90% are not in mind to support her to sail her life in whichever direction she wants? I failed to solve that conundrum either. In spite of being in those 10%, I failed to overcome the effect that those 90% had left over her. I failed to shed this sadness from her and from me, and for the first time in history, I failed to smile.
